As October approaches, Halloween make-up tips are in a previous YouTube video

Here are tips to write your blog.

  1. Passion project: write about what you really love. People can see if you are passionate about a subject and they are more likely to follow your journey, like, comment and subscribe to your projects on your website, YouTube channel, Instagram, or other social media you may have.
  2. Research: do your research on subjects you wish to write or Vlog about. Give your tips on your own interpretation or perspective.
  3. Audience engagement: at first your audience might take a while to connect with you, but the more you post, go for quality over quantity. Do your SEO and tags research too. People want to be able to find you and if you have a website it will rank higher in google over time.
  4. Competition: there are more people out there starting their first blogs and Vlogs. The world is huge and it is good to have a healthy mindset which is competitive. But be aware of not trying to be too gimmicky.  Maintain your own originality always, this will be better in the long run. AUTHENTICITY WINS over mediocrity every time.

Speak to your audience
You know your audience better than anyone else, so keep them in mind as you write your blog posts. Write about things they care about. If you have a company Facebook page, look here to find topics to write about.

Take a few moments to plan your post
Once you have a great idea for a post, write the first draft. Some people like to start with the title and then work on the paragraphs. Other people like to start with subtitles and go from there. Choose the method that works for you.

Don’t forget to add images
Be sure to include a few high-quality images in your blog. Images break up the text and make it more readable. They can also convey emotions or ideas that are hard to put into words.

Edit carefully before posting
Once you’re happy with the text, put it aside for a day or two, and then re-read it. You’ll probably find a few things you want to add and a couple more that you want to remove. Have a friend or colleague look it over to make sure there are no mistakes. When your post is error-free, set it up in your blog and publish.
